New ground – breaking new ground

New ground – through to new ground

Sometimes it feels like bangin’ your head against a wall

The things you do, making no difference at all

You keep tryin’, but time won’t ever fly for you; you need a sign

You know your purpose; know that your journey led you here

You keep your focus - others around you disappear

You’re still tryin’, but you wonder if you’re lyin’ to yourself; it takes time

New ground (there for the taking) – breaking new ground

New ground (the Spirit is moving) – through to new ground

Another step…everything earned; nothing given

Kingdom come one day on earth as in heaven

Bright hope shining for tomorrow – worth the temporary tears and sorrow

We’re breakin’ through – God’s tearing down the walls of our enemy

This is His victory

Our strength is renewed – we’re not backing down

Step into destiny – the Spirit is leading me (into new ground)

Break…..break…..break through, yeah! Break through!

You’re not alone in this world
